I like how at the beginning of the hiatus RM was like “Yeah! No more guest stars! no more tribute episodes! We’re focusing on the lesser seen characters and delving into their stories and yeah!”
Uh yeah okay. Is that why we have a major plotline involving marriage with Finn and Rachel that has gone on for like, too long, we had a horrid baby-stealing plot with Quinn (unnecessary), we had NeNe Leaks and Ricky Martin, Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell, a Michael Jackson episode, an episode dedicated to the fucking disco/70’s era coming up, and Matt Bomer coming in?
We’ve had one big storyline with Mike- he wants to dance. Tina has gotten NOTHING except being the helping-girlfriend-foil for Mike. Artie got to try and get a girl because his cheating ex-girlfriend is going to go with the girl who was nothing but a bitch to just about everyone for the entirety of 2 and a half seasons. Lauren was straight-out booted after her sole storyline was “I’m a curvy girl and Puck’s got the hots for me. I make jokes about eating a lot of food and RM gave me nothing else to work with.”
